After graduating photography class in Vevey (cepv), Switzerland, I moved to Paris focusing on fashion photography in the early 00s. But already then, portraiture was important to me and influenced my fashion imagery: I mixed friends with agency models for the cast and I was always out for an informal Sunday-afternoon-atmosphere.
Later, when I completely shifted to portrait photography, teaching became also part of my life, and since then continously changes the way how I comprehended my job as a photographer.
Since my first steps in photogtaphy, my interests revolve around humans. I love portraying architecture (particularly what is being called urban landscapes), but I mostly feel attracted by and committed to people, to the fragile endeavor of depicting them.
Since the mid-2000s I live between Basel, Switzerland, and Paris.
